Meet the TEFL in Spain team!

Megan Wummer
Center Manager & Course Director

Nationality: American

Qualifications: Cambridge DELTA; TEFL Certificate with specializations in Teaching Business English, Young Learners, and Grammar; BA Spanish & Italian

Experience: Over 10 years’ experience in ELT and Teacher Training

I began volunteering as an ESL teacher in the United States and quickly discovered that teaching was my passion. After studying abroad in Málaga in 2007 and falling in love with this vibrant city, I moved here and began teaching EFL in companies, bilingual schools, and academies. I later moved into academic management where I coordinated in-house teacher training. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me doing yoga, cooking, or enjoying Málaga’s cultural and gastronomical offering. I look forward to sharing my passion for Málaga and teaching with you on the Trinity CertTESOL course!

Andrew Stock
Course Tutor

Nationality: British

Qualifications: Diploma in TESOL, Bachelors Degree in English, Cambridge CELTA,  Specialist EFL courses in Teaching Cambridge Exams, Young Learners and Business English.

Experience: Over 10 years ELT and Teacher Training

After completing the Cert TESOL I began teaching a wide variety of learners of different nationalities in a variety of learning environments for a range of purposes. This prompted me to take further qualifications and enabled me to apply the knowledge and experience to teacher training in general and more specifically as a Course Tutor for the Trinity Cert TESOL course. When not training, I can be found hiking and walking in the surrounding Spanish countryside or playing roller-hockey for the Lions, in Malaga.

After completing the Trinity Cert TESOL I moved to Malaga, Spain to begin my teaching career. Moving into the marketing side of the TEFL industry was a natural progression for me, as I am passionate about the TESOL course and the opportunities that it allows people. I am also the Careers Advisor at TEFL in Spain, so will be on hand to guide you through the exciting jobs market and help you prepare for your first interview! When I'm not interviewing or taking pictures of you at the school I can be found exploring new hot spots in the city!

Francis Marín Brady
Language School Manager & English Teacher

Nationality: Irish & Spanish

Qualifications: Trinity CertTESOL & Masters in Journalism

Experience: Over 5 years' experience in TEFL and Academic Management

My life revolves around what I'm passionate about: teaching English, reading, writing poetry, volunteering at an animal shelter, being in nature and playing sports. At work, I'm driven, committed and professional. In my day to day I strive to strike a balance between both worlds.
Despite studying journalism and working as a journalist in Madrid, destiny brought me back home to Malaga, where I've ended up teaching English and managing the language school Málaga Lenguas. Living on the Costa del Sol is a way of life and being near the sea is a vital necessity for me. In these ways I live a happy life and wake up each morning with the motivation to help others.
